I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
